Soulier and Bunch merge to create Soulier Bunch, a multidisciplinary and international law firm
The law firms Soulier and Bunch are pleased to announce their merger and the creation of Soulier Bunch, effective October 6, 2025. With offices in Paris and Lyon, the new multidisciplinary and multi-sector law firm brings together more than 25 lawyers and leverages the global reach of the World Law Group to support companies and investors both in France and internationally.
A shared vision
A leading law firm for several decades, Soulier Avocats was co-founded by Jean-Luc Soulier, who built his career between France and the United States and developed a long-standing and highly recognized international business law practice.
Founded by Hubert Mortemard de Boisse (President-elect of the Lyon Bar for the 2026-2027 term), Estelle Rigal-Alexandre, Mohamed Bouzenada, Julien Chauplannaz, and Marie Frisch, Bunch quickly expanded in Paris and Lyon through a distinctly business-oriented positioning and an entrepreneurial, cross-disciplinary approach to business law.
A strategy firmly focused on cross-border and international matters
With their complementary expertise and a shared vision centered on international matters, the two firms decided to join forces to create Soulier Bunch in order to meet the growing needs of their French and foreign clients to handle cross-border matters, including in corporate law, business law, environmental law, industry-specific regulations, arbitration, commercial litigation, restructuring & insolvency, and employment law.
Soulier Bunch also leverages the global network of the World Law Group and the expertise of its Senior Advisors, Simon Wesley, Franck Buffaud, and André Soulier, who bring their extensive experience to the firm.
