A former Solicitor admitted in England and Wales, Simon practiced for many years with international law firms, where he gained extensive experience handling complex cross-border matters and working alongside multidisciplinary teams. Immersed in diverse legal and cultural environments, he developed a deep understanding of international clients’ expectations and the dynamics of collaboration among foreign law firms.
He now brings this expertise to Soulier Bunch, where he actively contributes to the firm’s international development by strengthening and expanding relationships with partners and correspondents worldwide.
Alongside his practice, Simon pursues his vocation as an educator. He teaches English law, legal skills, and international contract law at the Catholic University of Lyon (UCLy), particularly as part of the dual LLB program offered in partnership with City University of London. His teaching combines academic rigor with practical insights, preparing students for international legal careers.
Simon is also the co-author, with Cécile Le Gallou, of Le Droit anglais des affaires, published in 2018 by Lextenso Domat. An updated edition reflecting the implications of Brexit is scheduled for publication in 2025.
