Business disputes

• Represented a major player in the freight transport and logistics industry in disputes arising from the abrupt termination of established business relationships with commercial partners and subcontractors
• Assisted companies in obtaining interim relief before the summary judge and in implementing preparatory inquries (including court-ordered expert investigations and preventive attachment of bank accounts, securities, and movable assets)
• Represented an Italian company specializing in packaging machinery in proceedings to obtain compensation from its supplier for failure to deliver compliant goods
• Represented an industrial maintenance company in a dispute concerning a breach of a non-solicitation clause and enforcement of a penalty clause
• Represented executives in court proceedings for abrupt and vexatious removal from office
• Advised and defended a French national network distributing sanitary products in litigation initiated by a partner for abusive contractual termination

Shareholder disputes

• Represented an insurance brokerage firm in proceedings to compel a shareholder to transfer his shares pursuant to a unilateral promise of sale
• Assisted a shareholder of a world-leading brand solutions group, also employed by the group’s French subsidiary, in negotiating a settlement agreement addressing enforcement of his non-compete clause, related compensation, and the buyout of all his shares in the group

Banking litigation

• Assisted and represented a civil engineering company victim of CEO fraud in liability proceedings against its bank for unauthorized payment transaction and breach its duty of vigilance
• Assisted and represented private individuals victim of bank impersonation scams (spoofing) in liability actions against a major banking group in France and Europe for unauthorized payment transaction and breach its duty of vigilance
